Funding opportunities for individual instructors and academic departments
 
Advance the UCLA Strategic Plan’s goal of deepening our engagement with Los Angeles with two new funding opportunities:
 
• The Community-Engaged Course Development Program will offer up to 10 $5,000 awards to support UCLA instructors to develop new community-engaged courses at the undergrad, grad and/or professional levels. Deadline to apply is April 1.
 
• The Building Departmental Capacity for Community-Engaged Teaching Program will enable academic departments to support and sustain community partnerships for impactful community-engaged teaching/learning. Deadline to submit ‘intent to apply’ is March 1.

UCLA Staff Assembly’s month-long campaign continues with an in-person walk starting at Pauley Pavilion East, stopping at the Teaching Kitchen for a healthy treat and ending at the Wescom Kiosk for giveaways and a chance to enter to win a customizable UCLA Basketball jersey. All registered participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $100 gift card to the UCLA store.
